Inspirational Fashion Trends of Winter ‘23

This season we dived into the magical world of the Biba Movement, Loulou de la Falaise and the free bohemian lifestyle. This has resulted in a collection with many extravagant and glamorous prints and patterns, in combination with boho influences. Our new collection brings freedom, creativity and expression together.

Get inspired by these 60s and 70s trends and how they are reflected in the new winter collection.

Bohemian clothing

Bohemian ('boho') clothing refers to a style inspired by the bohemian lifestyle and culture. It embraces a casual, free and artistic look. Bohemian clothing is often characterized by loose and comfortable silhouettes, such as flowy maxi dresses, tunics, wide pants and oversized tops. It is often made of natural materials, such as cotton, linen and wool, and is characterized by colorful prints and patterns, fringes, lace and embroideries. In our new collection you’ll find more wide mini dresses, earthy red tones and wooly jackets!

Biba Movement

The Biba Movement was a fashion and lifestyle revolution that took place in London in the 1960s and 1970s. It was named after the iconic Biba store, which was a center of creativity and fashion innovation at the time. Biba was known for its unique blend of Art Deco influences, imaginative designs and lavish aesthetics. It inspired a generation of young people to dress expressively and individually. The resulting looks were extravagant, overwhelming and exuberant. Twiggy, a famous model of the time, became an icon of the Biba Movement, embodying its youthful, fashionable spirit. The influences of the Biba Movement & Twiggy can be seen in this collection in 'oversized' 60s prints, 'menswear' and the abundant combinations, like with glitter prints. As you know, we’re not afraid of daring combinations!

Loulou de la Falaise

Loulou de la Falaise was an influential English fashion muse and jewelry designer, closely associated with the fashion house Yves Saint Laurent. Her distinctive style and creativity have greatly influenced the fashion industry. Loulou was known for her bohemian-chic look, her unconventional mix of patterns and colors, and her ability to design luxurious accessories that reflected her personality. You can see that boho-chic look with us not only in materials and fabrics, but also in how we combine the items. Consider, for example, the combination of the chic pinstripe velvet suit, with a loose boho blouse underneath. We just love it!
